NFC Passive Electronic Paper Solutions
The most important difference between electronic paper (EPD) and traditional display devices is that it consumes power only during screen updating, and the display content can still be retained without power. This feature is a perfect match with TurboNFC technology.
The passive EPD solution includes a TN21 chip, an EPD panel, and an EPD driving circuit. The abundance of power provided by the TN21 NFC energy harvesting IC can satisfy majority EPD panels from 0.96 to 10 of various types, such as monochrome, tricolor, 4 gray scale, 16 gray scale, nColor, and etc.
The included phone App allows users to freely create the display content, mixing text, graphics, patterns, photos and so on. The display content is transmitted via the NFC antenna to the EPD panel to update the display.
Chivotech provides three models of passive EPD driving solutions, which respectively corresponds to applications using small, medium and large size EPD panels.
